How we sell antibodies

Buying antibodies is like buying shoes.   Paying more doesn’t guarantee your feet won’t hurt.  To begin, how do you find the right antibody supplier?   If your office is like mine, there’s a stack of printed catalogues 3 feet high, from companies selling antibodies.  I look at those catalogues and wonder, “How in the world do people find the right antibody at the best price?”   Internet search engines can certainly help, but is the quickest way the best way?  To add to the confusion, antibodies are sold through brokers who often times simply re-label the tubes and increase their margins.

At Green Mountain Antibodies, we’re trying to do things a little differently.  All our antibodies are produced right here.  If you need to talk to someone, chances are you might even talk to the person who made the hybridoma, grew the cells, ran the columns, and performed the assays that are part of the production and characterization processes.

In today’s world of tight research budgets, increasing technical challenges, and global competition, maybe it doesn’t matter that a small team of people in a little state is working hard to provide you the best possible antibodies for your research.  But that’s how we do business: quality at a fair price.  It’s our way of helping you do your work and maybe making life in the world a little less complicated.

All of our antibodies have a detailed specification sheet (similar to the one shown on the right) which can be accessed several ways.  The full catalog can be viewed by stock number as listed below or by antigen as listed on the left.  Please note that related antibodies will be shown in the right column as you search through each specification sheet. 

To order an antibody, choose the amount required and add it to your shopping cart.  We normally ship in 0.1 mg or in 0.5 mg sizes.  If you require a larger amount, please contact us directly for a quotation.
